Governance & leadership

Keystone Health Information Exchange (KeyHIE) is governed as a Health Information Organization (HIO) using a Memorandum of Understanding that fosters a collaborative non-competitive environment to improve care coordination. KeyHIE was incorporated and bylaws were adopted by the KeyHIE board at the close of 2013. KeyHIE Governance meets quarterly in-person and through monthly teleconferences to discuss ongoing and future development projects, and to ensure member compliance with all KeyHIE rules and regulations.
